What's the strangest way you've ever used a pencil?

Strung over my neck on my fly fishing gear lanyard along with a hand sharpener for sketching or notetaking while kayaking or fishing

Favorite artists, drawings or paintings?

I have varied tastes, but really enjoy seeing some of the amazing work of graphite pencil artists who can draw in indredible realistic detail. I am also an admirer of traditional pencil animation.

Favorite Famous Pencil User?

Thomas Edison - As an inventor he knew the value of hard work and experimentation and had a never give up attitude. He ran perhaps 10,000 experiments before comming up with the final design for the light bulb.

Most Influencial Teacher and why?

John Crawford & Cathy Sakas - Two naturalists who helped inspire my passion for natural history and the environment

Favorite writers, authors, books or short stories?

I most enjoy reading historical accounts and biographies of early naturalists, explorers, scientists and great leaders.

What do you like most about using pencils and what do you use them for most often?

mostly used for taking notes and writing in my journal books, also for doodling and would like to do more drawing and sketching to improve my skills but never dedicate the time to this
