Science Projects for Seventh Grade: Experimenting with the Laws of Gravity

Science projects in grade school are a great way to get the kids to think outside of the box. It is also a way to get the kids to work in groups. Below is a sample from the origional article on brighthub.com.

Teach:

Have students share any knowledge they may have about gravity. Tell students that we can learn a lot about gravity through experiments. Let the students know that they are going to perform an experiment to see if they can use the laws of gravity to get a bouncy ball off of a table without picking the ball up or using their hands.

Materials:

Bouncy ball
Mayonnaise jar
Flat Surface
Notebooks
Pencils
