OfflineI have never been able to draw but one thing i have been able to do for a long time is color (not always inside the lines). I have always enjoyed coloring because you can bring a dull picture to life. For me it is my way of being artistic because god only knows how bad I am at drawing. I have found over the years that I enjoy coloring with pencils. One of my favorite pencils to use is Palomino Aquarelle Colored pencils. When I use these pencils it doesn't feel like I am partaking in a coloring process where I am fighting the pencil to do what I want. Instead the pencils just seem to glide over the paper and before I know it I have a beautiful picture. I think what I like the most about the pencils is the smoothness with which they glide and the ease with which I can color.
What are some other colored pencils people like to use? What are your favorites?
I understand your drawing pains. Ever since I was young, I have not been a great drawer. All my classmates used to make fun of me and call me artistic. They thought it was funny but I thought it was in bad taste. Recently I began to use the Forest Choice Colored Pencils. For the casual or the serious artist, I feel that these pencils are the best purchase for the price. I currently own two 12 sets of the Forest Choice Colored Pencils. I'm loving it.
Hello, fellow lovers of color pencils. I'm still learning techniques to make my coloring better. Sometimes, I think color penciling is the most overlooked tool for coloring artwork. Now, with Photoshop being the it new coloring tool for many artists, color pencils has become underrated. But, that's alright. I'll always prefer color pencils. Anyways, my favorite brand of color pencils are the Col-Erase brands.
