JLI forwards Manga instruction with Manga Design, a intermediate course for artists versed in the basics of the illustration process. This quarter we will break away from the formal series and use video games as the inspiration for designing digital video games inspired by the work of Blizzard Studios, and their successful multimedia series, Warcraft and Starcraft. Artists will work in teams to create a series of games that can be tested online later in the quarter.
