JLI renews its development of talented graphic artist with a in depth look at the imaginative genre of the western. This quarter we will use the artwork of legendary comic book artist Tony DeZuniga. Along the way we will use the instructional pattern for creating character designed by Tom Bancroft. DeZuniga is famed for his illustration work for DC comics and his creation, Jonah Hex. Join us on Fridays from 430-600.

JLI invites artists to develop their painting techniques as inspired by the work of Man of Action's BEN 10. The animated series follows ten year old Ben Tennyson who finds a device out in the woods called the Omnitrix, which allows him to turn into ten different aliens species. Throughout his summer vacation, travelling the country in the Rustbucket with his Grandpa Max and his cousin Gwen, Ben fights crime and evil aliens with his new powers, gaining the ability to turn into more aliens along the way.

JLI renews its development of talented graphic artist with a in depth look at the imaginative genre of science fiction. This quarter we will use the artwork and concept art created for film visionary, James Cameron, as reference. Cameron is known for his fx films, including The Terminator, Aliens, and Avatar. Artists will work on developing and redeveloping characters using scifi inspired themes and designs from the Cameron films. Join us on Fridays from 430-600.

JLI brings tradtional and digital techniques together using the making of maquettes as inspired by the work of Pixar films Ratatouille and the Incredibles. Learn the process and materials used to form the head of these popular characters and create new 3D ones of your own.

JLI renews its development of talented graphic artist with a return to comic book art. This quarter we will use the artwork of illustrator Alex Ross as reference. Ross is well known for his work on Marvels, Kingdom Come, and his real to life painted panels and covers. Artists will work on developing sequential art using the layout from The Official Marvel Tryout Book

Join us on Fridays from 430-530. For further independent assistance, try our mentor period from 530-630.
