This video from the 1981 television adaptation of the book The Illusion of Life: Disney Animation includes interviews with Mel Shaw, Adriana Caselotti the voice behind Snow White and Disney animation greats Ollie Johnston, Frank Thomas and Ward Kimball three of the 9 Old Men credited with implementing the vision of Walt Disney when it comes to amimation at the disney studios. Mel who I recently met in person at the exhibition of his work at Jagged Lines of Imagination Acadamy discusses animated character design and development in the first setion of this video.
